moves from an event to a learning experience
Designed as an experiential model connecting cognitive learning with an immersive field experience and exposure, D3 moves from an event to a learning journey combining interactive exposure, reflection and community-based experience. Raising consciousness, elevating intention, and building individual capacity for advancing diversity, inclusion, and equity.
Deepening self-reflection; realizing personal transformation; achieving breakthroughs to accelerate racial equity. The traditional approach to diversity training has had limited success in achieving desired outcomes for sustainable transformation of organization cultures especially in the area of racial diversity.
In the words of James Baldwin, “We carry our history with us.” Understanding contemporary socio-economic systems in the United States begins with understanding the cultural context of US history. Within a framework of identity, systemic advantage, and power, D3 examines systems and policies that perpetuate racial, ethnic and gender disparities.
